Frederick “Fred” Richard, 79 of Westfield passed away August 16, 2024 at UPMC Chautauqua in Jamestown, NY.
Fred was born in Kittanning, PA April 10, 1945 to the late Felix and Gertrude (Myers) Richard.
Fred loved Westfield and choose to make his home there for over 60 years. He worked at Blackstone Malleable Iron in Jamestown for over 30 years and after they closed their doors he worked at Bush Industries in Jamestown for over 10 years until his retirement.
Fred loved his family and enjoyed time spent with them his other passions were Lake Erie, wildlife of all kinds, his hunting dogs, hunting, fishing, westerns and (Steelers) football.
Fred is survived by a daughter Tracy (Mike) Moon and a son Steven Richard (Muchell Switzer) 2 grandsons Grant and Wyatt Richard all of Westfield.
Also, 2 Sisters Janet Schall of Kittanning, PA and Jean (David) West of Butler, PA. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is proceeded in death by his 2nd wife Suzanne (Peterson) and 8 brothers Alonzo (Lon), Jesse, Wayne, Jarles (Tobe), Roy, Ray, Joe, and Robert Richard.
Also by 4 sisters Diadim (Dimme) Davis, Rayola Gillespie, Clara Goddard, and Rose Richard.
At Fred’s request there will be no service.
