To kick off the 38th Annual Sentimental Journey Fly-In, a historical marker is to be dedicated at the Piper Aviation Museum today. The marker will relate the history of Piper Aircraft Corporation that was headquartered at the William T. Piper Memorial Airport from 1937 to 1984. The public was invited to attend the event, which was to begin at noon. Dignitaries from local government and the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission will also be in attendance. Visit sentimentaljourneyfly-in.com for a full schedule and more information about the fun events going on for the rest of the week, and watch for more coverage of this event throughout the week.
