BATTLE CREEK, MICH. — Brandjectory, an online platform dedicated to connecting early-stage consumer products entrepreneurs to investors co-founded by Tom Malengo and Susan Bryenton, and Jeff Church, founder and chief executive officer of Suja Juice and Rowdy Energy, are coming together in two virtual pitch slams. The pitch slams are for the graduating cohort of Church’s DreamMakers Accelerator Program.

The DreamMakers program is a peer group of non-competing consumer packaged goods emerging brands that gain industry knowledge through the course from other industry veterans, according to the program.

The first “Investor Pitch: Brand Battles” will be held on Feb. 19 and the second pitch slam will be March 14. Both will be from 2 to 4 p.m. eastern time.

Thirteen brands in the DreamMakers cohort will participate in the two pitch events that offer a total of $20,000 in cash prizes.

“These 13 brands have excelled throughout our inaugural DreamMakers programs,” said Jeff Church, founder of DreamMakers. “These founders have been exposed to many of consumer packaged goods (CPG’s) most successful entrepreneurs and have already pitched their products to retail buyers. I am excited to bring the Investor Pitch: Brand Battle to the CPG investor community audience. I am thrilled to partner with Brandjectory, which has become the gold standard at preparing CPG founders and brands for investment, has an extensive CPG investor network and is the leader in preparing brands for pitch slams.”

The companies participating in the Feb. 19 virtual event include: Huxley; an energy beverage formulated with plant-based caffeine, Nonny; a non-alcoholic craft beer; Whey Up, an organic protein energy beverage; Dr. Mushroom, mushroom teas; and Tatsu Tea, a matcha energy beverage formulated with electrolytes, vitamins and minerals.

The companies participating in the March 14 virtual event include: Atika, a skincare supplement company; G7, a venture studio that supports wellness brands; Oku Energy, energy gummy snacks formulated with green tea, yerba mate, goji berry and coconut water; Spark Organics, fruit snacks formulated with organic fruit; and Tizz, tangerine fizz soda.

“We are delighted to provide these founders exposure to the CPG community and investor network,” said Susan Bryenton, co-founder of Brandjectory. “The investors on our judging panel will provide excellent and helpful feedback to the participants. This will be a great learning experience for all, including brand founders watching in the on-line audience.”
