Port infrastructure in the Odesa region was damaged by a Russian ballistic missile strike on Thursday evening, July 4.
The Southern Defense Forces reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“The strike damaged buildings and other structures of the port infrastructure. A fire broke out and was extinguished,” the statement reads.
According to Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, one civilian was killed and seven others were injured in the missile attack.
“Port facilities and administrative and household premises were damaged,” he said.
As reported, an explosion occurred in Odesa on the afternoon of July 4.
