Perrysburg – Elizabeth M. Huff, 84, of Perrysburg passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024 at her home. She was born on June 6, 1940 in Gowanda, daughter of the late Jerry and Nancy (Burr) Plummer.

She was married to Leland Huff, who predeceased her on August 22, 1994. For many years, Mrs. Huff was a nurse for many area nursing homes, and lastly had been employed at Autumnview Nursing Home in Hamburg. She was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation, Wolf Clan, a member of the Irving American Legion Ladies’ Auxiliary, as well as the Irving Wesleyan Church.

Mrs. Huff is survived by three sons; John (Becky) Huff of Weaver, AL, Peter Huff of Salamanca, and Donald Jimerson of Seneca Falls, as well as three daughters; Denise Laforme of Gowanda, Dorcus (Wade) Mohawk of Gowanda, and Leigh Snow of Perrysburg. Also surviving are two sisters; Jackie Bennett of Irving, and Toni Williams of Gowanda, and 18 grandchildren; Julie, Daniel, David, Judy, Mary, Catherine, Nathaniel, Josiah, Joseph, Nicky, Geraldine, Karen, Heron, Leland, Sara, Brian, Kirk, and Lea, as well as eleven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Huff is predeceased by a son, Daniel Huff, a brother, Jerry Plummer Jr., four sisters, Patricia Jimerson, Sue Gates, Carol Jonathan, and Gerladine Gates, and a granddaughter, Bethany.

Friends may call on Monday, September 30, 2024 from 6-9 pm from Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 105 East Main St. in Gowanda, and Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 11 am to 12 pm Noon from the Irving Wesleyan Church, 12728 Route 438, Irving, NY.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 12 pm Noon from the church.

Burial will be in the Seneca Nation Cemetery.
