Donna M. Kuhlman, 91, of Dunkirk passed away Tuesday evening, May 21, 2024 at the Chautauqua Nursing and Rehab Center in Dunkirk. Born on June 9, 1932 in Perrysburg, NY, daughter of the late Albert and Josephine (Cappellino) Fancher.

She dedicated over 20 years of her life as a teacher’s aide at Dunkirk City Schools, where her nurturing spirit and dedication left an everlasting impact on the lives of countless students.

Described as kind, generous, and always willing to help others, Donna was known for her selflessness and thoughtfulness. She found immense joy in spending time with her family and was incredibly proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In her free time, Donna enjoyed camping under the stars, dancing, listening to country and big band music, and cherishing the companionship of her beloved pets.

Surviving Donna are her children Brian (Faith) Kuhlman and Lynette (Rob) Jennings; grandchildren Amanda (Charles) Bellows and Brett Kuhlman Sr.; great-grandchildren Braden (Jess) Gaffney, Nolan (Eva) Gaffney, Norah Bellows, Kira Kuhlman, and Brett Kuhlman Jr.; as well as brothers Robert, Rollin (Yvonne), and David (Maureen) Fancher.

Preceding Donna is her husband of 61 years Carl Kuhlman, parents Albert and Josephine (Cappellino) Fancher, and an infant daughter Cindy Kuhlman.

The family would like to extend a special thank- you to the staff at Chautauqua Nursing and Rehab Center for their excellent care of Donna.

Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours today, Friday, May 24, from 4-7 p.m. at McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home where prayer services will be held the following day, Saturday, May 25, at 10 a.m.. Interment in Willowbrook Cemetery.
