On a recent frosty morning, four people worked together to plant seven new trees in the village, one being in the Cassadaga Beach area. For several years now, a committee of people gather to plant new trees in various locations as part of Arbor Day remembrance. Maple trees and yellow birch trees were planted this year. Shown in the photograph are tree planters, who include, area manager of Davey Resource Group Lori Brockelbank, Robert Reuther, Deborah Metzger and assistant village clerk Roxanne Astry.
