The Raleigh Police Department (RPD) confirmed Friday afternoon that one man is dead, another man is in critical condition and one man has non-life-threating injuries after a shooting at the North Hills shopping center area.

Newsweek has reached out to RPD via email Friday afternoon for comment.

Before 11 a.m., dozens of officers converged on the shopping center located in the 4300 block of The Circle at North Hills Street. According to RPD, a man entered Coquette, a French restaurant at the shopping center, and fatally shot another individual. The shooter then turned the gun on himself and was critically injured. A third man who was nearby also sustained gunshot wounds, but his injuries are not life-threatening, RPD said.
