Mews, the leading hospitality cloud platform, has expanded its partnership with Criterion Hospitality through a multi-year agreement. This collaboration enables Criterion to automate operations, optimize revenue management, and enhance the guest experience with Mews’ integrated Property Management System and Revenue Management System.

Criterion Hospitality, the operational arm of Criterion Capital, manages a diverse portfolio of upscale and mid-range lifestyle hotels, specialising in transforming underutilised buildings into thriving hospitality assets. One standout example is Zedwell, Criterion’s innovative, in-house hotel brand developed in partnership with sleep experts. Zedwell offers soundproofed rooms with purified air, body-cushioning mattresses, and ambient lighting, providing an affordable and restful retreat in prime city-centre locations such as Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, Tottenham Court Road, and Greenwich. Zedwell plans to scale to 8,500 rooms by 2027, expanding beyond London into key UK cities like York, Manchester, and Edinburgh.

To drive operational efficiency, Criterion uses Mews’ PMS alongside Atomize, the industry-leading revenue management platform recently acquired by Mews. This integration automates rates and dynamic forecasting to maximise revenue and occupancy. It also powers self-service kiosks and Mews Payments, automating 100% of reservation payments and reducing manual tasks.

Currently, eight Criterion Hospitality hotels, including Victory House Leicester Square, Assembly Covent Garden, and the Zedwell portfolio, run on Mews, with further expansion planned over the next 18 months. At Zedwell Piccadilly Circus, the brand’s largest hotel, 15 self-service terminals ensure fast, seamless payments. More than half of guests check in through these kiosks, and over a third opt for online check-in before arrival.
