County Educational Office Professionals hold Boss’s Night

MAYVILLE — The Chautauqua County Association of Educational Office Professionals recently held its Boss’s Night at the Mayville VFW Post 8647.

Kathy Garnsey, elementary secretary from the Brocton Central School District, received the 2024 Administrative Professional of the Year award. Garnsey has consistently gone above and beyond in her role, showcasing dedication, skill and innovation.

She has proven to be a true leader in her field, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues and peers for her outstanding professionalism and exemplary work ethic

Jason Delcamp, Brocton Central School superintendent, received the 2024 Administrator of the Year award. Delcamp has demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking and has a commitment to excellence in his administrative role.

Association officials said Delcamp has made a significant impact within the Brocton Central School District while serving as a role model and mentor to others.

William Scadden of Sherman Central School, winner of the $250 Inspiration Award from the Chautauqua County Association of Educational Office Professionals scholarship, is pictured.

Out of 25 scholarship contestants, Marlei Armstrong, daughter of Ken and Beth Armstrong, from Falconer High School received the association’s $750 scholarship while William Scadden, son of Jeff Scadden, from Sherman Central School received the association’s Inspiration Award of $250.
