JAMES CITY, Craven County — A Craven County roadway will have a temporary traffic pattern change as part of the ongoing James City project.
Officials say starting Wednesday, July 31 one entrance off Brown Drive to the Trent East Shopping Center will close for crews to begin construction of a new service road as part of the final phase.
This closure of one entrance is between Taco Bell and Bojangles, which is necessary for construction in the area.
Access to businesses and restaurants will remain open.
Drivers are urged to follow posted construction signage for the new traffic pattern and use caution near the active work zone.
