Must read

Week 10 isn’t set up to be a banger, but upsets are always lurking on weekends like this.

In the marquee game of the day, No. 4 Ohio State held strong on a crucial fourth-down stand at the goal line to stave off No. 3 Penn State. It’s a massive victory for the Buckeyes, and yet another loss in a big game for James Franklin and the Nittany Lions.

Elsewhere, Texas Tech went into Ames and pulled off the biggest stunner of the day with a last-minute win over No. 11 Iowa State to shake up the Big 12 standings.

In SEC action, Jaxson Dart and Jordan Watkins put on a show in No. 19 Ole Miss’ blowout win over Arkansas, setting all kinds of records in the process. Diego Pavia proved to be Hugh Freeze’s foil once again, leading Vanderbilt over Auburn to accomplish something that hadn’t been done since 1955. And No. 2 Georgia held off a pesky Florida team to escape with a win.

Here are the biggest games left on Saturday. (Scroll down to follow the action live.)

Week 10 is a great chance to check in on Clemson if you haven’t watched the Tigers much since their Week 1 blowout loss to Georgia. QB Cade Klubnik is now the No. 5 favorite for the Heisman and the receiving corps is deep. Cardinals QB Tyler Shough has thrown for 2,348 yards through eight games and has 20 TDs and five interceptions.

Time: 8 p.m. | TV: ACC Network | Line: SMU -7.5 | Total: 58.5

The Panthers got some good news Wednesday when coach Pat Narduzzi said QB Eli Holstein would be able to play against the Mustangs. SMU is dealing with its own QB injury issues. Kevin Jennings is officially listed as questionable but says he’ll be ready to go Saturday in what’s a massive game in the ACC standings.

Live103 updates

  • Final: Georgia 34, Florida 20

Florida couldn’t overcome losing another QB to an injury.

The Bulldogs assert their will with two 4th quarter TDs to seal it.

  • Houston interception!

Avery Johnson throws into traffic and it’s picked off by Michael Batton.

Houston takes over and can probably seal it with one first down. Kansas State has 2 timeouts.

Another upset brewing? Zeon Chriss just ran 41 yards for the go-ahead touchdown on No. 17 K-State.

It’s 24-19 Cougars with 2:31 to play and the rain is coming down HARD in Houston.

  • Georgia scores again!

The turnover leads to an easy Bulldogs touchdown on a run by Dwight Phillips Jr.

Just like that it’s a 14-point lead with 3:03 on the clock.

  • Georgia INT!

And right after the go-ahead score, UGA picks off Florida’s Aidan Warner deep in Gators territory.

The Bulldogs can pretty much put this away with a TD here. Under 4 minutes to play.

  • Georgia touchdown!

Carson Beck beats the Florida pressure and finds Dominic Lovett for the 1-yard TD pass.

Huge answer for the Bulldogs, who quickly take the lead back.

  • Final: Texas Tech 23, Iowa State 22

The upset is complete! The Red Raiders stun the No. 11 Cyclones, who lose for the first time this season.

The Big 12 continues to be wacky.

  • Touchdown Florida!

Ja’Kobi Jackson with a 15-yard TD run to tie it up with 7:29 to play! Wow.

Georgia and Florida has been trading punts back and forth until the Gators finally put together a nice drive there.

  • Texas Tech takes the lead!

Tahj Brooks runs in the touchdown from 6 yards out and the Red Raiders are in front with 20 seconds to play! It’s 23-22 after a failed 2-point try.

Stunned silence from the crowd at Iowa State.

  • Texas Tech driving

Behren Morton and Co. have taken it all the way down near the goal line with a chance to take the lead over 7-0 Iowa State.

    Nervous times in Ames.

  • Final: Oregon 38, Michigan 17

It was a quiet second half for the Ducks, who did all they needed in a dominant first half.

  • Iowa State MISSES FG

Kyle Konrardy’s 51-yard attempt is NO GOOD. And Iowa State squanders another chance to take the lead.

With 5:17 to play, the Cyclones’ perfect record is in serious danger.

  • Touchdown Georgia!

The Bulldogs quickly CASH in (get it?) on the big special teams play.

Carson Beck tosses to Cash Jones, who breaks some tackles and rumbles into the end zone.

Georgia takes the lead late in the 3rd.

Florida was lining up for a potential go-ahead field goal but the snap was low and it skipped by the holder.

Georgia falls on it in UF territory, and we remain tied in Jacksonville.

  • Texas Tech turns it over on downs

Behren Morton’s pass was JUST a bit too high for his receiver to haul it in on 4th and 6.

Big stop for the Iowa State defense.

  • And by the way, no sign of Trevor Etienne yet in 2nd half for Georgia. It appears Nate Frazier will be the go-to guy in backfield the rest of the way.

  • Iowa State kicks FG

Iowa State’s drive stalls a the 3-yard line, and it settles for a short field goal.

Texas Tech still leads by a point with 12:23 to play.
