New data released by Google Maps to mark its 20th anniversary has revealed the Cliffs of Moher in County Clare is the most-reviewed Irish destination on the platform.
According to Google Maps, which has more than 2 billion users worldwide every month, the Cliffs of Moher tops the list of most-reviewed Irish visitor attractions over the past two decades.
It is followed by the Book of Kells Experience at Trinity College, the Rock of Cashel in Tipperary and Hook Lighthouse in Waterford.

Google says the most-reviewed Irish park on the Google Maps platform is the Phoenix Park in Dublin, followed by St Stephen’s Green, also in Dublin and Eyre Square in Galway city centre.
The National Museum of Ireland in Dublin is the most-reviewed Irish museum, followed by Muckross House in Killarney and EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum in Dublin.
The Google Maps platform, which provided 1 trillion kilometres of directions to users in 2024, receives 100 million updates each day.
There are 250 million businesses and places listed on the map and 500 million users contribute information like reviews, photos, ratings and driving disruptions to the map per year.
