MADERA, Calif (FOX 26) — The City of Madera recently secured funds from the federal government to develop a comprehensive roadway safety action.
The city secured a total of $338,520.
The city participated in the Local Infrastructure Hub’s free training program, known as “boot camps,” to learn how to craft a more competitive federal grant application for the Safe Streets and Roads for All Grant program, which was established by the $1.2 trillion Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
The city is one of over 90 cities that has secured over $218 million in federal infrastructure funding after participating in the boot camps.
