Cervello has announced its collaboration with the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency (Väylä) to enhance the security of Finland’s railway infrastructure. As rail systems become increasingly interconnected, protecting them from cyber threats is more important than ever.
This collaboration aims to leverage Cervello’s advanced cybersecurity platform to ensure the safety, reliability, and resilience of Finland’s railway network, helping Vayla maintain a secure and efficient transportation system.
Cervello redefines rail cybersecurity with cutting-edge solutions designed to protect and empower rail networks globally. Cervello Platform offers holistic protection across IT, OT (operational technology), IoT, rolling stock, and signaling systems, ensuring maximum safety and operational integrity for rail networks.
Cervello Platform is used by transit operators and infrastructure managers as their go-to tool for risk management – delivering comprehensive visibility, deep asset and threat intelligence, and proactive operational resilience capabilities. Its dedication to innovation and excellence positions us as the global leader in safeguarding the future of rail transport.
The Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency deals with the service level of transport, thus promoting well-being in Finnish society and Finnish business competitiveness. FTIA’s task is to respond efficiently and responsibly to customer needs arising from changes in transportation and to produce a growth platform for society in the form of a functional and safe infrastructure.
In addition, efforts are made to promote development and responsible construction in the infrastructure field.
In a joint announcement last December, Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles (CAF) appointed rail cybersecurity company Cervello, in collaboration with Bynet Data Communications, to provide infrastructure cybersecurity for Israel’s Light Rail Transit (LRT) Purple Line, spanning 27 kilometers across the Tel Aviv metropolitan area. The multi-year deal is a monumental step in Israel’s NTA-led LRT project which aims at connecting six major Israeli cities to improve the quality of life for the country’s citizens.
