CBS Sports: Bills have a top-20 NFL cornerback in Rasul Douglas

Must read

The Buffalo Bills have had a lot of changes in the secondary this offseason.

Good news is, Rasul Douglas was not among them.

Acquired at the 2023 NFL trade deadline, Douglas seamlessly fit in with the Buffalo defense. He looks like a new No. 1 cornerback for at least the near future following the departure of Tre’Davious White.

Reflecting that was a list produced by CBS Sports. The outlet named the 20-best cornerbacks in the NFL and Douglas appears.

Below is the CBS Sports breakdown on Douglas, followed by their entire cornerback rankings:

Douglas was a fairly innocuous contributor through the first few years of his career, but over the last three seasons has been dynamite in coverage. He has 22 pass breakups and 10 interceptions against 10 touchdowns allowed during that time, allowing passer ratings of 43.7, 84.0, and 70.5 in that span. He has shown the ability to play both outside and in the slot, which is a nice bonus.
