The College of Applied Science and Technology (CAST) is proud to present the 2025 Science and Technology Week, celebrating advancements in science and technology and the hardworking, dedicated students and professionals who make those advancements possible. This year’s Science and Technology Week is scheduled to run April 7-11.

Vertical Farm Ribbon Cutting
Don’t miss this ribbon cutting ceremony and reception celebrating the new Vertical Farm, a collaborative effort with the College of Applied Science and Technology, the Department of Agriculture, and the Office of Sustainability.

CAST Academy of Achievement
Celebrate CAST alumni during their induction to the CAST Academy of Achievement. The Academy brings together alumni who are “thought leaders” in their fields and who serve as an inspiration to others with similar career paths.

CAST Faculty/Staff Appreciation Luncheon
CAST faculty and staff members are invited for lunch in gratitude for their efforts this 2024-25 academic year. Please join us to celebrate the academic year with good colleagues and conversation. This event is in lieu of the traditional spring meeting. Preregistration is required.

This event provides students an invaluable opportunity to network with recent alumni and gain practical insights into the transition from university to the professional world. Attendees will learn about the highs and lows of job-searching, the benefits of active on-campus engagement, and the importance of cultivating professional relationships.
