CAMC named ‘Best Regional Hospital’ by U.S. News and World Report

CAMC has been recognized as a Best Regional Hospital in the annual Best Hospitals rankings and ratings for 2024-25 by U.S. News & World Report. This is the second year in a row CAMC has earned this designation.

CAMC also has been recognized as a High Performing Hospital in eight procedures/conditions including abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, colon cancer surgery, heart failure, kidney failure, lung cancer surgery, leukemia lymphoma and myeloma and pneumonia.

Additionally, CAMC Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte is rated high performing in pneumonia care.

The annual Best Hospitals rankings and ratings, now in its 35th year, are designed to assist patients and their doctors in making informed decisions about where to receive quality care for challenging health conditions or elective procedures.

For the rankings and ratings, U.S. News evaluated nearly 5,000 hospitals across 15 specialties and 20 procedures and conditions. State and metro area rankings reflect the highest performing hospitals in the area across multiple areas of care.
