ALDI opens second Savannah store

The supermarket chain, one of America’s fastest-growing retailers, expands its local presence with East Savannah addition.

ALDI will offer Savannah residents affordable food and more, all at great prices, as it opens its newest store at 1651 E. Victory Drive.

The intentionally different ALDI business model has fans across the country raving about the company’s fast and affordable shopping experience, award-winning exclusive brands, and weekly lineup of limited time ALDI Finds. Local shoppers can experience the ALDI difference themselves when the new Savannah store opens on Thursday, Aug. 8 at 8:45 a.m. The store will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

To celebrate, the first 100 customers will receive a gift bag filled with a sampling of ALDI Fan Favorites products and a gift card as part of the ALDI Golden Ticket gift card giveaway program. Shoppers can also enter a sweepstakes during the grand opening weekend Aug. 8 – Aug. 11 for a chance to win a $500 ALDI gift card. See official rules here.

As part of this Grand Opening in Savannah, ALDI is proud to be donating $1,000 to America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia Inc. This donation is part of our commitment to donating $150,000 to Feeding America and its network of affiliates through 2024 to help alleviate hunger in local communities. In addition to this donation, ALDI will work with Second Harvest to ensure excess grocery items are delivered to the local community through the Feeding America Network. In the past year, ALDI donated 33 million pounds of food to Feeding America partners across the country.

A proven medical leader with 21 years of clinical experience, Dr. Seibert will help lead ExperCARE’s new expansion of services model, which provides on-demand preventative care and functional medicine services, offering patients a more holistic approach to healthcare. He previously served as a pediatrician in primary care at Southcoast Health in Richmond Hill, Georgia.

Dr. Seibert is a respected physician serving patients across coastal Georgia and has repeatedly been voted Best Pediatrician by Savannah Magazine, Connect Savannah, Bryan County News and Bryan County Now readers. The Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics honored him as the Young Physician of the Year in 2014.

Dr. Seibert is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and has Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications. He authored two books on pediatric healthcare and earned an M.D. with honors from the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, an MBA from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama and a B.S. in Biology with honors from The University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. He completed his residency at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and has been a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Georgia Medical Society and the Medical Association of Georgia.
