It’s hard to figure out where this merry-go-round at Richemont started, but two big moves really changed the landscape of the brand. The retirement of Cyrille Vigneron as CEO of Cartier starting September 1st of this year left an opening for Louis Ferla, the recent CEO of Vacheron Constantin, to step into a job he was long rumored to be interested in. Meanwhile, Van Cleef & Arpels’ recent CEO, Nicolas Bos, was tapped to lead Richemont as a whole, which required moving Jérôme Lambert to Chief Operating Officer. But when Catherine Rénier was moved from one CEO seat to another (from JLC to VCA), that left another opening to fill.
