Here are this week’s local business and nonprofit awards, acquisitions and donations:

ACQUISITIONS

Missouri-based SWADE Cannabis by BeLeaf Medical, acquired Good Day Farms, Rolla, Missouri. SWADE previously transitioned ownership of its Ellisville, Missouri dispensary to Good Day Farm as part of the purchase.

HELPING OUT

The David and Barbara Mungenast Charitable Foundation provided $9,000 for Hancock Place Elementary School, St. Louis, Missouri, to participate in the All Kids Bike Kindergarten PE Learn-to-Ride Program. The funds supply everything, including bikes, to teach kids at the school how to ride in eight lessons.

MILESTONE

The community development nonprofit Rise celebrated 30 years of work towards revitalization of neighborhoods in the St. Louis area. The $122,780 raised at the Mississippi Mingle event will support the organization’s efforts to develop affordable housing and commercial space that enhances economic diversity.

Eagle Productions, a marketing and event management agency, relocated its headquarters from Clayton to 100 S. 4th Street, Suite 550, in downtown St. Louis, Missouri.

RECOGNITION

The St. Louis Area Business Health Coalition honored Barry-Wehmiller with the 2024 Business Health Culture award for the company’s comprehensive approach to employee wellbeing.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Charles County board of directors achieved Gold Level recognition in the League of E.A.G.L.E.S. Recognition Program at the Boys & Girls Club of America Midwest Leadership Conference in October. The BGCSTC’s 2023 Annual Report also won the 2024 Midwest Region Marketing and Communications Award from Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
