Endeavors to celebrate anniversary with celebration June 18
Endeavors Performing Arts and Special Events Venue will celebrate its fourth anniversary with champagne and hors d’oeuvres from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. June 18 at 868 S. Fort Hood St., Killeen.
It is also the second anniversary of Endeavors Events Venue, located next door at 874 S. Fort Hood St.
“I not only want to invite [the community] to tour our venue and enjoy our anniversary celebration … I want them to understand that we are also here to teach, nurture and provide performing arts opportunities to aspiring young actors in Central Texas,” said Monique Stone, owner, in a press release.
Endeavors will also host the premiere of its children’s musical comedy stage play based on the story of Adam and Eve, “SERPENTENE,” at 7 p.m. June 19.

Killeen Chamber’s networking mixer will be June 20 at AdventHealth
The Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce will host the Third Thursday Mixer at 5:30 p.m. June 20 at AdventHealth Central Texas, 2201 S. Clear Creek Road, Killeen.
Professionals are invited to attend to gain information about the hosting business, meet and network with others, and enjoy food and drinks. There will also be door prizes.
Greater Killeen Young Professionals to host speaker Michele Carter
The Greater Killeen Young Professionals will host Michele Carter as the featured speaker for its next “Our Next Guest…” event at noon June 20 at the Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce, 1 Santa Fe Plaza Drive.
Carter is the chancellor of Central Texas College, and she will be a part of an open forum for attendees to ask questions and network. The event is ticketed and GKYP members can register for free. Non-members can register for $5 each. Go to www.gkyp.org or email
Lunch Mob event will be at Chuy’s in Harker Heights June 20
The Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce will host its next Lunch Mob event from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 20 at Chuy’s, 700 W. Central Texas Expressway, Harker Heights.
This program brings the community together for lunch and networking to support a local business and spread awareness of dining options in the area.
