Florals for spring may not be groundbreaking but do you know what is? Multicoloured rainbow stripes adorning everything you wear head-to-toe. After neutral tones and minimal fuss have reigned supreme for the past few seasons thanks to the quiet luxury aesthetic, we are *so* ready to embrace eye-catching colour and a more is more attitude with our spring summer fashion trends. And so is Emily Ratajkowski.
The model, actress, author and podcast host fronts Kurt Geiger‘s new spring 2025 campaign that sees her channel colourful, summer radiance by donning, most notably, a rainbow swirl printed bikini. Set against the iconic backdrop of Palm Springs – or better make that ‘Kurt’s Motel’ – EmRata is photographed standing waist-deep in bright blue water clearer than our 2025 calendar, the swimwear’s multicolour print in perfect parallel to the movement created by the sun’s reflection on the surface.
Completing the summer-ready ‘fit is the brand’s signature Kensington flab bag decorated in a coordinating swirling pattern of crystal-adorned rainbow hues, balanced on top of Emily’s head out of reach of the water. Statement bejewelled chandelier earrings, a matching chunky necklace and a multicolour tennis bracelet prove that more really is more when it comes to finishing touches. We are taking notes!
A second shot out of the pool reveals more of the collection, including a boldly patterned kaftan – what better to throw on over your rainbow bikini than a rainbow cover-up? As well as toting two bags, both featuring the same vibrant retro colour palette with pops of turquoise and coral alongside hints of more mellow brown and yellow, EmRata also gives a look at the brand’s latest shoe edit. With influence of ’50s and ’60s glamour evident throughout, it’s perhaps most obvious in the stripey espadrille heel with satin scarf ankle tie. No surprise the stand-out sandals have gone straight to the top of our wishlist.
Delivering radiant summer energy with a collection full of mood-boosting buys, we can almost forget about the fact it’s still cold outside. Almost… Oh well, if dopamine dressing fails to work, at least you’ll be ready to go come summer!
