Bravida has been awarded a contract by the Swedish Transport Administration regarding cooling technology along railway tracks all over the country. The assignment includes both maintenance and installation of cooling equipment. The initial duration of the agreement is three years.
The Swedish Transport Administration manages a railway network with a length of more than 14,000 kilometres in Sweden. Bravida’s assignment includes the replacement and new installation of cooling equipment in technical buildings, technology rooms and radio base stations along the railways, as well as maintenance and annual inspections. The assignment covers both planned measures and urgent remedial action.
“We have extensive experience in helping our clients with large national assignments with a local presence, and performing implementation contracts where we take full responsibility. And we are very pleased to now be doing this in a project together with the Swedish Transport Administration,” comments Pontus Magnusson, Bid Manager for national customers at Bravida.
The contract has an estimated order value of around SEK 11 million, with options amounting to a further SEK 11 million. Bravida’s works will start on 1 September 2024 and is scheduled for completion on 31 August 2027, with the possibility of an extension.
