- Block’s (NYSE:SQ) Cash App is being integrated into Google Play (NASDAQ:GOOG) (NASDAQ:GOOGL), allowing users to choose the app as their preferred alternative payment option when checking out on Android smartphones or tablets, Block said on Thursday.
- The partnership will allow Cash App and Android users to pay and get access to millions of apps, games, music, movies, books, and more, the companies. It also represents an opportunity for Block (SQ) to tap a broad range of customers, particularly those in gaming.
- Cash App Pay currently has 4M monthly actives, adding 1M monthly actives each of the last four quarters, the company said.
