BJCF Now Accepting Applications for 2024 Infrastructure Grants – Boulder Jewish News

Must read

The Boulder Jewish Community Foundation (BJCF) is pleased to announce changes to the BJCF 2024 Infrastructure Grant programs. In the past, we have granted small awards to many Jewish Organizations/Communities in Boulder (approximately 2 dozen). Our strategy going forward is to increase the dollar amount of awards and create the ability to support organizations with a multiyear commitment.  For example, we plan to award a couple larger multiyear grants for infrastructure programs (such as a capital campaign); and approximately six (6) mini-grants.

As always, the grants are designed to support Boulder County Jewish organizations with infrastructure needs.  These include, but are not limited to:

·         assistance with underwriting of facility costs of an event;
·         improvement or upgrade of a facility; or
·         development or improvement of an online presence.

If your organization has previously received grants, you are pre-approved to apply for a 2024 grant. To apply, send an email to allenhittelman@comcast.net. In your email, include the following information:

·         “Grant Request” in subject line
·         Organization name
·         Your name and contact information
·         Type of grant: multiyear or general infrastructure
·         Requested amount of grant
·         Brief information about the request
·         Deadlines / Important Dates

The requirements for all grants remain the same and include:

·         The grantee is either located (or has a nexus) in Boulder County, Colorado,
·         The grantee is considered a Jewish organization that provides Jewish infrastructure for the Boulder Jewish community,
·         The grantee has proof of IRS Federal Tax-exempt status or has a fiscal agent/fiscal sponsor with proof of IRS Federal Tax-exempt status.

The deadline for an application is October 28, 2024. Funds will be awarded in December 2024. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

We appreciate your support of the Boulder Jewish Community.
