Josh Allen vs. Patrick Mahomes for a spot in the Super Bowl. What more could you want?

The two electric quarterbacks will duel once again in the postseason with the Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Buffalo Bills in the AFC championship game. The two teams have quite the history together over the past few seasons, as Sunday will mark the fourth time they’ve played each other in the playoffs.

It will be the second meeting of the season between Buffalo and Kansas City after the Bills beat the Chiefs in November to end the perfect record of the two-time defending Super Bowl champions. However, Kansas City has had Buffalo’s number in the playoffs with a 3-0 record against Allen and company in the past three postseason matchups, including last year.

Can Allen and company finally get over the hump and make the Super Bowl for the first time in more than 30 years, or will Mahomes lead his team back to the title game for a chance at NFL history?

NFL championship round odds, predictions and picks

Eagles vs. Commanders | Chiefs vs. Bills

Lorenzo Reyes: Bills 31, Chiefs 23

This game is a little tougher to pick, but I think the Bills have enough to upset Kansas City. For one, the Chiefs have been winning at an unsustainable pace in close games. At some point, that luck will run out. But, more than anything, the Bills protect the ball and were best in the NFL in giveaways (8) and turnover margin (+24). Buffalo has lost all three playoff games against the Chiefs during the Mahomes-Allen era; I think the Bills will have a little extra edge.

Tyler Dragon: Chiefs 26, Bills 22

The Bills beat Kansas City Week 11 in Buffalo. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will get revenge in Kansas City on Sunday. Expect Mahomes, Travis Kelce and DeAndre Hopkins to make game-winning plays on offense. Chris Jones and the defense will contain Buffalo’s offense. Mahomes enters the game 3-0 versus Josh Allen and the Bills in the postseason.

Jordan Mendoza: Bills 29, Chiefs 28

Another thriller between Allen and Mahomes awaits. History suggest the Chiefs should be able to figure out Buffalo considering they’ve been able to end the Bills’ seasons on many occasions, but there’s something different about this Bills team. It doesn’t let Kansas City’s magic get the best of them, and Allen finally gets past Kansas City in the playoffs to send Buffalo to the Super Bowl.
