Members of the Bay De Noc Great Lake Sport Fishermen had a very busy day supporting the local fishery. In Stonington, members watched as 2,400 brown trout were released into Little Bay De Noc. Meanwhile in Kipling, other members did their third and final netting of walleye fingerlings. Almost 2,900 walleyes that averaged 5.3 inches were released into Little Bay De Noc this fall. “It is activities like these from our club that give our local fishery a much better future,” club members said.
