MILWAUKEE — Aurora Health Care opened its new urgent care in Mequon June 24, providing area residents with a closer and more convenient option to get care, according to a press release.
Located at 6425 W. Mequon Road, Aurora Urgent Care in western Mequon offers in-person care for a variety of minor illnesses and injuries that need immediate, but not emergency, attention.
The walk-in clinic also has extended hours, making it a convenient option without needing to make an appointment with a primary care provider.
“This new urgent care location is a testament to our commitment to serving the needs of our community. Often the first point of contact in health care, we are confident it will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care when our patients need it most,” said Tom Zilavy, vice president of Clinic Operations, Aurora Health Care.
Aurora Urgent Care in west Mequon is part of Aurora Health Center. The urgent care clinic is a 2,785square-foot addition to the existing facility, which also received an 8,860-square-foot renovation. The $5.8 million project began in September 2023, with construction completed on-schedule, according to the press release.
