HONOLULU (KHON2) — A failed robbery of an ATM from the Bank of Hawaii located within the Pearl City Shopping Center occurred in the early hours of Saturday, June 8.
Three male suspects were caught on tape executing this unsuccessful mission and police are now searching for the men.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:39 a.m., when the suspects were unable to secure the currency box and fled the scene in a grey colored Ram truck traveling along Kamehameha Highway.
According to authorities, the suspects were described as follows:
- Suspect #1: An unknown male with a medium build, wearing a black hat, mask, gray long-sleeve shirt, gloves, black pants, and black shoes.
- Suspect #2: An unknown male with a heavy build, dressed in a black UCF hoodie, black pants, black shoes, brown mask, and gloves.
- Suspect #3: An unknown male with a medium build, sporting a red wig, mask, black hoodie, gloves, camouflage pants, and gray shoes.
Honolulu police is actively investigating the incident and urge anyone with information regarding the suspects or the vehicle involved to come forward.
