AT&T is adding a new cellular site near Voyager and Interquest parkways to accommodate the area’s population growth and increase in entertainment options. This new site also adds Band 14 spectrum connectivity to the area. Band 14 is a nationwide frequency spectrum set aside by the government specifically for AT&T’s FirstNet, a nationwide communications network created with and for public safety.

“At AT&T, expanding our network is about fostering innovation and accessibility for our Colorado Springs customers,” said Guillermo Lambarri with AT&T Colorado. “We are committed to bringing cutting-edge connectivity to our local communities and helping ensure everyone has the opportunity to succeed in the digital age.”

AT&T says they have invested more than $875 million in wireless network upgrades in Colorado since 2019.
