Arthur W. “Art” John, 77, of Silver Creek, NY passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Buffalo General Hospital.

Art was born on October 4, 1946 in Salamanca, NY the son of the late Derland and Harriett (nee Snyder) John.

He is survived by his lifelong partner Donna Bartelo of Silver Creek; three children Anthony (Bernadette) Brown Sr., Jessica (Brian Wronek) John and Robert (Mikayla Miller); nine cherished grandchildren,Gideon, Socorro and Jaylan Brown, Troy, Jorja and Jack Wronek, Declan and Ezekiel Lyman and AnthonyBrown Jr.; a sister, Maxine (Art) Jimerson; a brother Dale (Roxy) Snyder; also survived by many nieces and Nephews.

In addition to his parents Art was predeceased by a brother Barry Snyder Sr.

Art graduated from Orchard Park High School in 1964. He was a proud patriot who served his country in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked in the construction business for many years with hisbrother Barry Snyder Sr. and their family in Irving, NY and the surrounding area.

Art was a proud member of the Seneca Nation of Indians in the Hawk Clan members are considered spirited, diligent and very intuitive and represent courage and strength. He loved his motorcycles anden joyed traveling the country with his friends or people he met along the way. He especially enjoyed going to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, S.D. and Daytona Beach Bike Week in Daytona Beach,Fla. He also was a very active participant of the REDRUM Motorcycle Club, Seneca Chapter, Irving, NY.

Friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave. Silver Creek, NY on Friday, September 7, 2024 from 4-7 PM, where a funeral will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 11AM. Interment will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery, Silver Creek.
