Will Kindles be discounted this Prime Day?
Being an Amazon event, Prime Day often sees some of the best savings on the retailer’s own devices – think Echo dot smart speakers, Fire TV sticks and Fire TVs, plus Kindle ereaders. If you’re after the latter, you’ll have to wait until the main event.
If previous years are anything to go by, we can expect the paperwhite (£149.99, Amazon.co.uk) and the kids’ version (£139.99, Amazon.co.uk) to be discounted, as well as plenty of savings on Kindle books.
In the meantime, you can find the best Amazon device deals below:

The Prime Day beauty deals I’m shopping
I’ve been covering Prime Day for years and can confirm it’s one of the best times of the year to stock up on beauty essentials. From cult classics such as Elemis’s pro-collagen cream, Revlon’s hot brush and TikTok-viral favourites (think Maybelline’s sky high mascara or Colour Wow’s dreamcoat spray), the sale leaves you spoiled for choice – and the early offers are already rolling in.
Colour Wow dreamcoat spray: Was £27, now £19.95, Amazon.co.uk
Reduced by 26 per cent, now’s the time to snap up Colour Wow’s viral dream coat spray. When our beauty writer tested the cult buy, she said the formula “did a stellar job of keeping my hair straight and adding some serious gloss.” Working through heat-activation, the product adds extra moisture and gloss to locks, giving dull hair a new lease of life.
CeraVe facial moisturising lotion SPF 50 : Was £16.50, now £11.29, Amazon.co.uk
SPF is a non-negotiable, so it’s important to find a daily formula that works for you. Suitable for normal skin, CeraVe’s daily formula secured a spot in our round-up of the best SPF moisturisers. “Including SPF 50 for stronger protection, the lightweight cream houses three ceramides, niacinamide and vitamin E to hydrate and heal whilst shielding from the sun,” our tester said.
