The industrial style machine was praised by our tester for its “looks, durability and quality of coffee”. And, as you’d expect, it “made a great cup of coffee with a decent crema”.

Who knew an electric toothbrush could be so stylish? Sustainable, sleek and effacious, Suri’s electric toothbrushes have built somewhat of a cult following (me included). I invested in the sage green model and have no regrets.

A stellar saving for the bargain-savvy bookworms out there, the Amazon Kindle Paperwhite, our favourite tried and tested ereader, has dropped in price by a worthwhile 20 per cent. In our review, our tester said it featured an elegant design, and improved front light, which is now “subtler and adjustable in terms of warmth as well as brightness”.

Our tester added that, unlike other Kindles, it “uses a newer type of e-ink, which offers a faster page turn and smoother transitions”.

Thanks to Amazon Prime Day, Apple’s wildly popular AirPods Pro 2 earbuds have fallen to just £179, the lowest price they’ve ever been. I’ve been covering Black Friday for years and this Prime Day deal has blown the former’s Apple deals out the water.

The AirPods pro earbuds offer a “significant improvement over the already-splendid first-generation model,” praised our tech critic David Phelan in his review. “The case now includes Apple’s U1 chip, which means you can use the Find My app on your iPhone, say, to locate it when you’ve misplaced it,” he added.

They also featured in our review of the best wireless earbuds, with our tester noting they “fit the ear well and stay put securely, and there are now four sizes of silicone ear tips to ensure decent sound isolation”.

Some of the best discounts during Prime Day can be found on tech. Case in point: this impressive saving on a Google Pixel 8 pro phone, as recommended by our tech expert.

Discounted by 30 per cent, Google’s flagship Pixel 8 Pro is one of the best smartphones our tech writer Steve has ever tested. “This year’s Pixel phones go hard on fancy generative AI features, but underpinning all of Google’s software cleverness is an excellent device boasting a significant hardware upgrade over last year’s model,” they said in their review.

“With a telephoto lens and extra RAM, as well as a Tensor G3 processor, AI-fuelled photo editing features and a glorious 120Hz display, it’s the Android device to beat.” I’m sold.

Taking the hassle out of cleaning your home, I’ve had a robot vacuum on the wishlist for a while – but they don’t come cheap. Prime Day has only just begin but I’ve potentially found the best deal on a model already. Reduced by more than 50 per cent, this Eufy model is tried and tested, and just over £100.

When it comes to vacuum cleaners, suction is vital. In our round-up of the best robot vacuum cleaners, our expert tester noted that the Eufy robovac 15c has “good suction for the price, and handles dirt and dust on hardwood floors and medium-pile rugs with ease.”

If you have a mix of floors in your home, “the sensors can tell when the robot moves from carpet to hard floors and adjusts the suction strength to suit the situation.” The robot’s compact, slim 7.2cm height also allows it to glide under furniture effortlessly, tackling areas that you’d otherwise have to bend down to reach.
