The annual two-day shopping event features sales only for Amazon Prime members. It began in 2015, when Amazon celebrated its 20th anniversary.
The exclusive summer sale offers members savings on a variety of Amazon products across all categories.

The 48-hour sale begins in the early morning hours Tuesday, July 16. Amazon Prime Day launches at 12:01 a.m. PT, with deals for Michiganders beginning at 3:01 a.m. ET.

The event typically features major deals on big-ticket products, including electronics, kitchen gadgets, tools and more. Members will also see discounts on brands like Clinique, Allbirds and Kiehl’s, with new deals dropping every five minutes.
