Albania opens 2.7 mln euro tender for military base infrastructure

June 19 (SeeNews) – Albania’s defence ministry on Wednesday announced the opening of a tender for a contract for infrastructure development at a military base in the southern city of Korce with an estimated budget of 275 million leks ($2.94 million/2.74 million euro).

The winner will be required to establish internal networks of roads, electricity, water supply and sewerage systems within six months, the ministry said in a tender announcement. The winning candidate will also have to build an underground facility for water storage.

Offers can be submitted until July 5.
