Our industry continues to progress towards greater traveller-centricity and major changes in underlying standards and industry technology are about to open a host of new opportunities to do even more. Departure Control Systems, which haven’t fundamentally changed for decades, will evolve into Delivery Management systems. This evolution means tickets, boarding passes and even the check-in process itself may soon be retired in favor of a new, simplified, approach that can underpin a more seamless and personalized airport experience. The implications are significant, with better integration between airline and airport operations, improved disruption management, and entirely new retailing experiences.”

The Airports Innovate event unites airport executives, technology pioneers, and industry professionals to discuss advancements in airport operations, enhance passenger experiences, and promote sustainable practices.
