The moon spends all day in adventurous Sagittarius, so you can expect to feel spontaneous, even a bit reckless. This isn’t a day to worry about the details or adhere too closely to the rules: Better to risk making a mistake than risk missing out on a transformative (or simply fun) experience. At night, however, Saturn enters the picture to cast a pall, making difficulties and challenges seem worse than they really are. Don’t take any late-night feelings to heart; you’ll have a new perspective in the morning. Below, find the daily horoscope for each zodiac sign.
For a long time, you thought you knew exactly how your life would play out. Maybe you were working single-mindedly toward a specific goal or you had a vision of how things were “supposed” to go. Today, consider that you don’t have to stay on the same track if you no longer want to, especially if it means settling. Allow yourself to believe that the dreams you thought were impossible might be within reach after all. Not that you have to throw everything out and start from scratch. For now, letting yourself imagine other futures is enough.
Your emotions might be extra intense today — perhaps disproportionate to the situation at hand. You’ve been through worse and weirder times, you tell yourself, so why do you feel so strongly now? Why can’t you just push through this? Your emotional life doesn’t have to be logical, and right now you don’t need to explain or justify how you’re feeling. That isn’t license to act however you please — you’re still responsible for treating people right — but there’s no need to be ashamed of feeling however you feel.
Most of the time, you’re self-aware. You can see yourself as you really are without ego or insecurity getting in the way. Sometimes, though (and especially when you’re going through an intense or difficult time), it gets harder to look at yourself with any kind of objectivity. Today, if you struggle to make a decision, or to make sense of your life, ask the people close to you for their perspective. They don’t know you better than you know yourself, but with a bit of distance, they might be able to see things you can’t.
You sometimes wish you didn’t feel so deeply. You imagine that your strong emotions distract you from the more practical things you’re “supposed” to be focused on or that they make others see you as sentimental and unserious. But today, it’s important that you resist the impulse to hide or deny your emotions. It won’t actually make your path any smoother, and whatever you try to repress will ultimately curdle into resentment. At the very least, be honest with yourself. But if you’re open with others, you may be surprised to find that they’re feeling exactly what you are, too.
You’re more private than most people realize: For every personal detail you share, there’s another one you hold back. You may seem like an open book, but you have your hidden depths, just like anyone else. Today, though, it might be harder than usual to hold back. Other people can pick up on your moods — probably more accurately than you give them credit for. As much as you try to hide what you’re feeling, it’s going to come through loud and clear anyway, so you may as well let it out in the open.
Annoyingly, seeing your own unhealthy patterns clearly doesn’t necessarily make it any easier to change them. Sometimes, introspection only makes it more difficult — you get tangled up in thought and analysis, and you start to second-guess yourself. The more you brainstorm possible solutions, the more you start zeroing in on all their potential pitfalls, to the point where it seems useless even to try. Today, don’t think so hard. In your heart, you probably already know what you need to do. There’s no need to ruminate any longer. Just go for it.
The more you push yourself to be objective today, the more muddled you’ll probably feel. There’s simply too much information out there for you to sort through all of it. Even more than that, your own opinions and experiences can’t help but influence your judgment. So stop expecting yourself to be impartial. You’re a human being, after all; you can hardly turn off your feelings. Listen to the facts, but listen to your gut, too. You’ll make wiser decisions in the end.
You might feel unusually defensive today. When your friends make different choices than you would, it seems like a personal rebuke; when they disagree with your opinions, you may assume they’re doing it just to spite you. Try to take a step back and remember that they’re probably not actually thinking about you at all. Sometimes (in fact, oftentimes), different people are just … different from one another. If you give others the space to do their own thing, you’ll feel freer to do yours.
You might be full of an undefined longing today. You don’t know exactly what it is that you want — you only know that you’re missing something. It might be tempting to blame the people around you for failing to meet your needs, but if you can’t even express them, how could they deliver? Remember that some days just feel like this; it doesn’t necessarily indicate larger problems. But if you do need something more, or simply different, from life, the best way to identify it is by going out and living your life — not sitting home stewing.
Your energy levels might be low today, and while sometimes you can successfully push through your exhaustion, at a certain point even your reserves run dry. You can’t draw from an empty well. So instead of trying to work miracles, take a break if you need one. Reschedule your plans if you’ve hit your limit. Trying to force yourself to be productive or charming or fun probably won’t work well anyway, so you might as well give yourself what you really need: a moment to rest and recharge.
Even if you don’t usually begrudge others their happiness or good fortune, you might experience jealousy today. Maybe your friends seem to have more money than you, or more fun, or a stronger sense of purpose. Maybe your envy is targeted at people you hardly know but who appear to have it all figured out. Try not to let these feelings make you lash out, but don’t ignore them, either. Noticing who and what ignites your envy can help clarify what you really want and what you should begin working toward.
In theory, you recognize the value of being open with the people in your life. There’s no point in pretending to be someone you’re not; if others love you for a fake or idealized version of yourself, they may as well not love you at all. In practice, though, it’s still tempting to try to hide the traits you’re not proud of. But today, people are likely to see through any act you try to put on, so you’ll be happier — and much less stressed — if you’re honest from the beginning.
