The pairings are set for the 2024 OVAC Volleyball Championships as Morgantown (Class 5A), Oak Glen (4A), Union Local (3A), Caldwell (2A) and newcomer Heartland Christian (1A) all claimed No. 1 seeds and will host a semifinal match on Tuesday against the No. 4 seeds.
In Class 5A, the Mohigans (19-1) will entertain cross-town rival No. 4 University (17-3) in one semi, while No. 2 Warren Local (18-1) awaits No. 3 Marietta (17-2).
In Class 4A, the Golden Bears (18-2) face No. 4 Harrison Central (12-7). No. 2 Beaver Local (16-4) hosts No. 3 East Liverpool (15-4).
The Class 3A bracket has the Jets (17-2) hosting No. 4 Monroe Central (15-4) and No. 3 Martins Ferry (12-5) visiting No. 2 Linsly (17-2).
The Redskins (18-2) await No. 4 Clay-Battelle (15-5) in one Class 2A semifinal, while No. 3 River (12-7) heads north on Ohio 7 to face No. 2 Wellsville (15-4).
No. 4 Beallsville (12-7) heads to Columbiana to face the top-seeded Lions (13-5). No. 2 Conotton Valley (11-7) welcomes No. 3 Trinity (12-8).
The finals will be held on Saturday, Oct. 12 at the ECO Center west of St. Clairsville. The Class 4A title tilt will kick things off at 9 a.m., to be followed by the 5A (11 a.m.); 1A (1 p.m.); 2A (3 p.m.) and 3A (5 p.m.).
