Teleport, a leader in secure infrastructure access, announced the expansion of its executive team to scale and accelerate the company’s next growth phase. And Jeff Bunten has joined as the company’s Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), with worldwide responsibility for all revenue growth and sales strategy aspects. Diana Jovin has been named Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), responsible for scaling global marketing execution.
Jeff Bunten brings over 30 years of sales leadership experience to Teleport, most recently as the Senior Vice President of Sales at Obsidian Security. Before Obsidian, Jeff played a critical role in the growth of Auth0 as the VP of Enterprise Sales and Strategic Accounts, during which time revenue grew from $53 million to more than $240 million, followed by continuing enterprise sales leadership at acquirer Okta. Before Auth0, Jeff held senior leadership positions at Oracle, Cisco and Riverbed Technology.
Diana Jovin joins Jeff as a go-to-market leader, with over 30 years of marketing leadership experience with expertise in positioning, category creation, and enterprise and channel marketing. Before Teleport, Diana led product marketing at DigiCert, where she defined and elevated the role of digital trust in cybersecurity and identity and access management strategies.
In the prior roles, she has created and/or expanded the application server, spend management, and mobile handset markets and ecosystems. And with a proven track record of bringing disruptive technology to mainstream adoption, Diana will play a central role in advancing Teleport’s market presence and customer acquisition strategies in the evolving access control landscape.
KEY QUOTES:
“Teleport has established itself as a mission-critical vendor for leading brands. We are now operating some of the largest privileged access deployments in the world for humans and machines and serve 16% of the Fortune 100 focused on financial services and technology. We are thrilled to have such experienced go-to-market leaders join us at this important stage of our growth, as companies increasingly scale their use of Teleport to transform and harden their access control and identity security strategies.”
-Ev Kontsevoy, CEO and co-founder of Teleport
“I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to drive customer growth and expansion, as we continue to evolve our infrastructure access platform, expand into policy governance and add to the enterprise-grade features required for global deployments at scale. Teleport is at the forefront of the transformation of access control from passwords and standing privileges to identity security, zero trust and ephemeral privileges, critical to addressing the growing and existential threat of identity-centered attacks.”
