ELLERY — Karagan Fairbank had nine aces, 10 assists and two digs as Chautauqua Lake swept Maple Grove 25-9, 25-14, 25-9 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 3 girls volleyball Wednesday.

Jeanine Group had seven kills, four aces and two digs; Sydney Williams had five kills, four aces and two digs; and Alice Scarpine had five digs for the Eagles (6-2, 5-0).

Bryanna Cornell had two kills, three blocks and three digs; Mady Haglund had five assists and four digs; Cambria Fiorella had three kills; Harper Dawes had five digs; Cady Rodgers had six digs and an ace; and Bayley Godfrey had two digs for the Red Dragons (1-7, 0-5).

WOLVERINES SWEEP BROCTON

WESTFIELD — Maddie Burgess had 14 assists and a dig to lead Westfield to a 25-16, 25-19, 25-14 sweep of Brocton in Division 3 action.

Avery Smith had five kills, a block and a dig; Charly Mathews had four kills, a block, eight digs and four aces; and Sydney Hotchkiss had a kill, eight digs and an ace for the Wolverines (6-2, 4-1).

Grace Lundin had four kills, an assist and 25 digs; Lily Zappie had five kills, four assists and five digs; and Aryana Nickerson had six kills, six blocks and two digs for the Bulldogs (1-6, 0-4).

Westfield won the jayvee match.

PIRATES SWEEP FORESTVILLE

FORESTVILLE — Lily Johnson picked up six kills, three aces and five digs to lift Clymer over Forestville 25-17, 25-23, 25-22 in Division 4 action.

Elli Bodamer added five aces, a kill and 15 digs for the Pirates (6-2, 5-0). Janelle Burchanowski added 15 assists, an ace and six digs, and Ava Nyweide delivered six kills, two aces and five digs to keep their perfect league record.

Megan Gruber led the Forestville (2-5, 2-2) effort with two kills, four blocks, an ace and four digs. Carilene Sliwa had five kills, one block and two digs; Kaitie LoManto had three aces, eight assists and five digs; and Iris Muck added a kill and three blocks.

COUGARS TAKE DOWN SHERMAN

SINCLAIRVILLE — Emiley Anderson had 10 kills, nine digs and five aces as Cassadaga Valley knocked off Sherman 25-20, 25-15, 25-21 in Division 4.

Hailey Anderson scored six kills, 10 digs and seven aces for the Cougars (4-6, 3-2). Payton Meder had five kills, two digs, two aces and a block, while both Alexis Pattyson and Jazmin Debo contributed 10 assists apiece.

Sherman (6-4, 3-2) was led by Kelsey Wagner with a kill, three blocks and three aces; Madison Emory had two digs and five aces; and Carlie Gable scored five kills.
