Kelly C. Lewis
VERSAILLES — Kelly C. Lewis age 62 of Versailles passed away early Tuesday morning September 24, 2024 at the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo surrounded by family .
Kelly was born in Gowanda October 26, 1961 the daughter of Kipplinger Lewis and Maxine (Parker) .
A 1979 graduate of Gowanda Central, Kelly was a loving mother and grandmother with a contagious smile .
She followed in her mother’s footsteps when she and her loving friend and partner Dennis Durante opened the Painted Pony Gas Station on the Cattaraugus Territory in the mid 2000’s to the mid 2015 . After closing their shop she devoted time to her kids and grandkids. She will be missed.
Survivors include her children; Naomi Williams and James Williams both of Versailles, her grandchildren; Erika, Maxin, Jonas, Asia Lindgren, Jonas Williams, Shia Lindgren, Jayce Parker, Lindy Jo, Hendrix and Brian Williams . Brother; Kip (Barbie) Lewis of Versailles .
Kelly was preceded in death by her Mother Maxine (Parker) Smith Father; Kipplinger Lewis, Step Father Eugene Smith, Son; Jonas Williams, Daughter Stacey Williams (who she appears with in her pic) and Brother; Kimberly C. Lewis, (Amy Vance who Kim shared his life with survives).
Friends may call at the SCHINDLER FUNERAL HOME 44 Center St. Gowanda from 3:00-7:00pm Friday where funeral services will be held Saturday September 28, 2024 at 10:00 am . Kelly will be buried next to her children Jonas and Stacey.
