FREDONIA — Londyn Wilmot had eight kills and two aces to lead Fredonia to a 25-18, 25-12, 25-17 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 sweep of Dunkirk on Tuesday.
Maddie Saunders had 16 assists, three kills and an ace; Elizabeth Morris had five kills and three aces; Lydia LaBarr had two kills and four aces; and Emily Schwertfeger had two kills for the Hillbillies (4-2, 3-2).
Brooke Szymczak had two kills and three blocks; Yuleisy Cruz had two aces, a kill and two digs; and Aaliyah Morales had five digs for the Marauders (1-6, 0-5).
PANTHERS TOP SALAMANCA
GOWANDA — Gowanda swept Salamanca 25-5, 25-8, 25-17 in Division 2 action.
Addison Kota paced the Panthers (6-2, 4-1) with seven kills, four aces, five digs and two assists, Jillian Gernatt dealt 15 assists, three aces and three digs, Holland Browning scored two aces, five kills and two digs and Elizabeth Green made two aces, four kills and two digs.
Makenzie Crouse had three kills, a block, two digs and an ace; Hadleigh Krug had 11 digs; Jorja Miller had three blocks; Joey Jimerson had four digs, three assists and an ace; and Skyla Dowdy had three digs and an assist for the Warriors (2-6, 1-5).
FALCONER SWEEPS
WEST ELLICOTT — Emily Zaranek had 13 kills, 15 digs, an ace and two blocks to lead Falconer past Southwestern 25-21, 25-20, 25-17 in Division 1 action.
Hannah Melquist dealt out 22 assists, seven kills, 12 digs, three aces and a block for the Golden Falcons (8-1, 4-1), Mylie Zaranek had seven kills and 21 digs, while Augustine Krenzer added three kills, three blocks and eight digs.
Southwestern (5-3, 3-2) was led by Siri DuBois with 12 kills, six digs, two blocks and an ace; Bella Sirianni made 14 assists, 10 digs and two kills; and Payton Swartz contributed 20 digs.
