PELZER, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Vertiv, a digital infrastructure and continuity solutions provider, announced plans for a new manufacturing facility in Pelzer.
The 215,000-square-foot facility is intended to help the company meet capacity demands for data center infrastructure solutions, including integrated modular solutions, power systems on pre-integrated frames or in enclosures, and complete data center systems.
President of Vertiv’s Americas region, Anand Sanghi, said, “We’re excited to make this significant expansion of our North American manufacturing operations in Anderson County, which has become a hub for our infrastructure solutions business. Increasing manufacturing capacity is critical to supporting increasing customer demand for high-performance computing and artificial intelligence, and the Vertiv Pelzer operations are central to that mission and our success.”
The new facility is expected to create up to 300 jobs in Anderson County.
