(25News Now) – In Soccer, Washington and Normal Community both get big non-conference wins.
Today was also the final round in the Pekin Dragon Classic at Lick Creek. East Peoria’s Connor Watson was the low local golfer, finishing 3rd individually at 2 under, and Normal U-High finished 2nd in the team standings.
Today was also the Dunlap Cross Country Invite. In the girl’s race, Olympia’s Emma Swartzendruber finished 2nd individually, while Eureka as a team finished 3rd. In the boy’s race, Metamora’s Zach Born came in 1st, Eureka’s Tucker Hinkle finished 2nd, and Illini Bluff’s Eric Pincock finished 3rd. Eureka was also the team champ.
In Flag Football, Richwoods and Peoria High both continue their impressive inaugural seasons with another mark in the win column.
