Donna Lee Drummond

Must read

Donna Lee Drummond

Donna Lee Drummond, on Saturday September 15, 2024, our mother was finally able to find peace after a long courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Donna loved all her children with everything she had in her and never stopped showing it even close to the end. Donna loved a good parade and marched with drum corps for years. That’s probably where she got her dance moves she is so well known for. Donna worked in the medical field for many years starting as an aide, then doing medical transcription at Brooks Memorial Hospital and at Central Urology. She ended her carrier working at Aspire.

Not only was she a wonderful mother to her children but also to any of their friends that lovingly called her mom. She is truly going to be missed by all that knew her and loved her. You can rest now mom, your battle is finally over, and you fought hard, it’s never going to be goodbye- just see you soon. A special thank you to Chautauqua Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the years of care to our mother, especially the staff on 2-B.

Donna is survived by four children: Jacquelyn (Shawn) Abram, Jonathan Garigal (Amber Hubbard), Angela Garigal, and Joshua (Stefanie) Garigal; from four children came nine grandchildren, who were her pride and joy: Madison Abram, Tyler and Katelynn Garigal, Michael, Dakota and Aspen Gates, and Jakob, Jaxon and Gianna Garigal. She is also survived by her lifelong best friend, Robert Garigal. Even though they were no longer married they were together in sickness and health.

Visitation will be held at the LARSON-TIMKO Funeral Home, 20 Central Ave, Fredonia on Saturday from 12 noon-3:00 pm, where a funeral service will follow at 3 pm. The family would like to invite friends to a Celebration of Life reception at the Fredonia Memorial American Legion Post 59, 156 E. Main St., Fredonia directly following the funeral services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care, 20 W. Fairmont Avenue, Lakewood, New York 14750.

On-line condolences may be made at larson timkofuneralhome.com.

Arrangements by David J. Dengler.
