4 Tri-City companies make Inc. Magazine’s fastest growing list

Four Richland businesses have made Inc. business magazine’s annual list of the 5,000 fastest-growing companies in the country, according to the current issue of the publication.

The list ranks companies based on three years of annual revenue growth.

Leading the Tri-Cities companies is Richland-based Epic Trust Financial Group, a financial services company established in 2020. 

The company ranked No. 1,755 and boasted a 299% revenue growth over three years, according to Inc. It is the third consecutive year the company has made the list. The majority of Epic Trust’s partners and staff now operate as Guardian Financial Group. Mark Haynes, Tyson Reil and Nathan Burt make up the ownership group.

Christensen, a family-owned distributor of fuels, lubricants and propane since 1980, ranked No. 3,184 and had 155% growth over three years. It’s the second consecutive year the Richland business appeared on the list. Tony Christensen is listed as the companys top executive.

Pacific Northwest Family Law in Richland, founded in 2019, ranked No. 3,515 with 137% growth over three years. It appeared on the list from 2016-18. Scott Ashby is listed as the firm’s top executive.

Gravis Law firm in Richland, founded in 2013, ranked No. 3,711, with 126% growth over three years. It has appeared on the list consecutively for five years. Brett Spooner is the CEO/president.

To be eligible for the Inc. 5000 list, a company must:

  • Be privately held, for profit, and independent (not a subsidiary or a division of another company).
  • Have been founded and generating revenue as of March 31, 2020.
  • Have generated a minimum of $100,000 in revenue in 2020.
  • Have generated a minimum of $2 million in revenue in 2023.

Companies must pay $495 to submit an application for consideration.
