If you’re already thinking about your holiday shopping, then you’re probably anticipating the hot deals that are expected to drop over Black Friday 2024.
Black Friday typically has the best sale prices of the year with big discounts on all those must-have items of the holiday season, including electronics, toys, fashion, home goods, appliances, and much more.
These markdowns are typically better than any big semi-annual sales events we see from other retailers, including Amazon’s mega Prime Day sales.
So, with all these big Black Friday 2024 price drops on the horizon, here’s everything you need to know about the biggest shopping event of the year that’s coming up sooner than you think.
When is Black Friday 2024? When is Thanksgiving 2024?
Black Friday 2024 is on Friday, November 29. This always falls the day after Thanksgiving, which is on Thursday, November 28, this year.
While most retailers keep their doors closed on Thanksgiving Day, many kick off their big sales online on Thanksgiving Day, so you can start grabbing Black Friday deals as soon as they hit right from the comfort of your couch.
Black Friday 2024 Ads
While it’s too soon for any Black Friday ads to start dropping just yet, we have already seen Walmart get into the holiday spirit with the release of its “2024 Top Toy List.”
This extensive toys list includes the best games, action figures, plushes, and much more available at Walmart, which are sure to be on your kid’s wishlist this holiday season. We also expect to see other retailers, like Amazon and Macy’s rolling out their toy lists in the coming weeks, signaling that the holidays are almost here.

We don’t officially know Walmart’s plans for Black Friday 2024, but last year the retail giant held a big “Walmart Black Friday Deals” sale that started before Black Friday on Wednesday, November 8 at 3 p.m. EST and in stores on November 10 at 6 a.m. local time.
The sale rolled into a month-long event with deals dropping all throughout November with massive savings offered on Black Friday. The “Walmart Black Friday Deals” sale also gave early online access to Walmart+ members.

Amazon’s “Black Friday Sale” usually doesn’t disappoint, so we expect massive deals in 2024 as well. While Amazon traditionally offers big holiday discounts throughout the month of November, its best markdowns are often offered on actual Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Best Buy Black Friday Sale
If you’re looking for an electronics deal during the holidays, Best Buy usually has a huge “Black Friday Sale” with discounts on TVs, laptops, Apple devices, headphones, phones, smart appliances, and more.
The retailer’s “Black Friday Sale” typically starts in mid-November with Cyber Monday markdowns following for a couple of days after. Last year, it also offered early access to Black Friday discounts for Best Buy Plus ($50 a year) and My Best Buy Total ($180 a year) members.

Best Buy has yet to reveal its Black Friday 2024 deals, but here’s a look at some top electronic discounts it featured last year.
Target Black Friday Sale
Target offers some big deals during Black Friday and it often unveils a “Pre-Black Friday Sale” with a slew of early deals on TVs, Apple products, kitchen appliances, toys, and more.
But some of the best markdowns from Target arrive on Black Friday with online deals also offered on Thanksgiving Day. Target also features its “Holiday Price Match Guarantee” usually starting in mid-October so you can ensure you are getting the best deal around.

Target is still tight-lipped on its Black Friday plans for 2024, but is expected to release a holiday ad soon that details the upcoming sale. Until then, here are some of the top products we saw discounted last year.
Dyson Black Friday Sale
Dyson’s “Black Friday Sale” traditionally offers some of the best discounts of the year on its popular hair styling tools and vacuums, including the hot ticket AirWrap. That being said, Dyson typically starts its “Black Friday Sale” the day after Thanksgiving.
However, Dyson does tease the deals to come on its website in the days leading up to the sale going live.

While we expect Dyson to offer some huge deals on hair styling tools and vacuums over Black Friday 2024, it hasn’t announced anything just yet. But you can prepare for the holidays now with a look at some of the best products it had on sale for Black Friday 2023.
HOKA Black Friday Sale
Typically HOKA drops some big savings on its famous sneakers for Black Friday and we expect the shoe retailer to do the same in 2024. Last year, its “Black Friday Sale” was live from November 22-27 with up to 40% off select sneaker styles for men and women.
As a holiday treat in 2023, HOKA also offered a free gift on all orders over $175.

If you’re a Stanley fan, then you already know that its drinkware is rarely discounted, but the retailer did have a Black Friday sale in 2023. Last year, Stanley dropped a big “Black Friday Sale” with up to 60% off select tumblers, water bottles, mugs and more.
Stanley actually started kicking off early Black Friday deals in mid-November that were also up to 60% off. But more markdowns were added leading up to Black Friday 2023 with the sale running through December 2.

Nordstrom always has big price drops for Black Friday and we expect more designer deals to pop up for the holidays in 2024. In 2023, Nordstrom ushered in its “Black Friday Sale” on November 24 with discounts on handbags, shoes, fashion, home goods and so much more.
Nordstrom said its “Black Friday Sale” offered “once-a-year deals” with up to 60% off top merchandise. The retailer traditionally teases its holiday markdowns ahead of the launch of the sale, citing the coveted brands that will be discounted.

Last year, Nordstrom Rack’s “Black Friday Sale” kicked off earlier than ever with some of the best savings of the year on handbags, apparel, shoes, home goods, and more. It had deals on popular boots early on and up to 70% off with its “Rack Up The Deals” promotion.

In 2023, we saw Samsung drop a giant Black Friday Sale about a week before Thanksgiving with major savings on smartphones, TVs, tablets, home appliances, and more.
Samsung’s Black Friday Sale typically releases its holiday deals on its website ahead of the sale’s event going live. This year we expect the same and wouldn’t be disappointed if these Black Friday deals drop even earlier.

Coach Black Friday Sale
Last year, Coach’s huge Black Friday Sale started just ahead of Black Friday on November 23 and ran through November 24 (official Black Friday 2023). We don’t know just yet when Coach will hold its Black Friday 2024 sale, but we do expect it to go live around the same time.
At the time, Coach offered some big price drops on handbags, wallets, and fashion items with up to 25% off select merchandise. The designer also dropped some Black Friday Doorbusters up to 50% off and all sale items were reduced an extra 50% off last year.

In past years, Kate Spade has kept the Black Friday deals flowing through the Sunday after Cyber Monday. The retailer also typically has a flurry of early markdowns you can score before its official Black Friday sale.

BJ’s Black Friday Sale
BJ’s typically launches a mega “Black FriYay Sale” just ahead of Black Friday with major deals on electronics, toys, home goods, apparel, and more. The sale traditionally runs through Cyber Monday.
But to shop these big Black Friday discounts, you will need either a BJ’s Club membership for $55 a year or a Club+ membership, which costs $110 a year.

Costco Black Friday Sale
Costco always has a huge Black Friday sale and we expect this year’s to offer deals just as good. In 2023, the retailer kicked off its holiday sale on October 30, running big markdowns through November 27 in four different sales events with new price drops each week.
The month-long sale offered giant discounts on electronics, home goods, fashion, toys and more. But you must have a Costco membership to grab the low sale prices offered during Black Friday. A Costco Executive membership costs $65 and a Gold membership costs $130 a year unless we find you a discount sooner.

While it’s still too early to know what Costco will have on sale for Black Friday 2024, these are some of the top products we saw deals on last year.
Sam’s Club Black Friday Sale
In 2023, Sam’s Club held its big “Black Friday Sale” on November 23-26 with major discounts on electronics, jewelry, apparel, toys, furniture, kitchen gadgets, and more.
Sam’s Club continues to offer savings during the holidays on Cyber Monday with its “Cyber Savings” event and its big “December Instant Savings” sale.
However, in order to grab the holiday savings at Sam’s Club (and all year round), you’ll need either a Club ($50 a year) or Plus ($110 a year) membership to shop online and in its stores.
Right now, Sam’s Club is offering a new member deal with its Club membership on sale for only $15 a year and its Plus membership on sale for $55 a year.

UGG Black Friday Sale
UGG typically kicks off its Black Friday sale by opening the UGG Closet. This includes mega discounts on its bestselling boots and slippers with discounts often up to 60% off.
The UGG Closet is traditionally open for about six to seven days over Black Friday and Cyber Monday. In 2023, it opened just a few days before Thanksgiving Day and we expect the same to happen this year.
