WORTHINGTON — The Nobles County Library, 407 12th St., Worthington, is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The Adrian Branch Library, 214 Maine Ave., Adrian, is open from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and noon to 5 p.m. Friday. The Nobles County Library in Worthington will be closed Saturday, Sept. 14 for King Turkey Day.

Large print books for adults: “An Unlikely Amish Inheritance” by Jo Ann Brown, “Her Surprise Amish Match” by Pamela Desmond Wright and “An Alaskan Blessing” by Belle Calhoune.

After School Programs: Begin next week. Stop by or call the library at (507) 295-5340 to sign up your children. Children are responsible for their own ride to and from the library.

Monday: Wii U/XBox gaming (grades 4-9), 3:15 to 4:45 p.m.

Tuesday: Kids Club (grades K-5), 3:30 to 4:45 p.m.

Wednesday: Story Time (toddlers-preschoolers), 10 to 11 a.m.; Just Gurlz (girls grades 5-9), 3:15 to 4:45 p.m.

Thursday: Kids Club (grades K-5), 3:30 to 4:45 p.m.

Sept. 12: 6 to 8 p.m., Trivia Night. Tease your brain and win prizes! Ages 18+ please.

Sept: 26: 4 to 5 p.m.: Teen Poetry Reading – come share your poems! (Grades 6-12)

Sept. 27: 4 to 7 p.m.: Welcome Week on the library lawn. Come celebrate creating a community where newcomers and long-established residents can thrive together! There will be a food truck, police and fire truck and activities for kids and adults.

Sept. 30: 6 to 7 p.m., Friends of the Library Book Club, discussing the book, “The Lost Girls of Willowbrook” by Ellen Marie Wiseman. All are welcome.

Oct. 23-26: Fall Book Sale. Everything will be 25 cents and a $1 bag sale will be on Saturday. Mark your calendars and plan to attend.

Art Club: Art Club meets the fourth Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. There is no cost to join and all are welcome!

New exhibit: “Artists & Dabblers in the Jacqueline Hambleton Family.” Opening reception is from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8. The exhibit will be on display until Oct. 30. Make sure to stop by!
