Renold Ajax, a local manufacturing company in Westfield, donated $1,000 to the Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue’s Sampson Fund in August. Half of the funds were raised by the company’s generous employees at the summer picnic, with the other half matched by the company. This donation will support the “Sampson’s Fund,” dedicated to providing urgent medical care for dogs in need. Shortly after NCCR was established, a dog named Sampson was found curled up in the snow, severely malnourished and injured. Despite his critical condition, he was given a chance at life thanks to the love and patience of a caring family and the support of NCCR. Sampson’s story is a testament to the importance of the Sampson Fund, which helps cover the medical costs for dogs in desperate need. How You Can Help: If you’d like to contribute to the Sampson Fund and support the medical care of mistreated, ill, and injured dogs, you can donate directly through their website or send a donation to NCCR, 7540 N. Gale Street, Westfield, NY 14787 with a note indicating it’s for the Sampson Fund.
